How to be a baker
"costly and difficult but loved every minute of it"
How I did it: I looked at schools and at first I was discouraged because they cost so much, but with the push of my husband and the ok, I decided to go for it. The student loans are crazy but I'm so glad I did it. It was a 6 month program and then an internship and now I am a full time baker in NYC!
Lessons & tips: FYI: it does not pay! This has to be something you love doing b/c you will not make money at it unless you open your own business or spend years in the industry.
