How I did it: Traveled from Finland to Bugøynes, a small fishing town in the north east of Norway. Arrived at the coast of the Arctic Ocean, undressed, ran in, fell into a wave, swallowed a mouthful of salty water, ran back out! As it was the end of November it was said that the water was around -8'c, pretty chilly!

Lessons & tips: Don't wait around, or dip your toes in first. Run straight in before you can think about what you're doing or start to feel the cold too much!! Have a cosy towel waiting for you on your return :)
