How to donate my clothes

How I did it: I found out that my local cat rescue takes in unwanted items in decent condition via their thrift store. All profits the thrift store makes goes to helping the cats. I gathered up all my old clothes, made sure they were clean and decent condition, and brought them in. I got a receipt so I can write them off come tax season.
Lessons & tips: Check out your local thrift store-see if they will accept donations. Often they go to a good cause, such as animal rescue, helping women or children.
