How I did it: I applied everywhere, and eventually I got my position in the Americorps as a Rover restoration and outreach coordinator!... Albeit not a permanent position, but a definite start! Also the position is in a nonprofit which you always hear about how people in these positions have a higher level of personal fulfillment, and I would love to see if I can grow into professional in this kind of environment!

Lessons & tips: The americorps program I applied for had already sent me a rejection letter but due to some twist of fate I got a call a couple weeks after that... so, expect the unexpected?
