How to try a Solid Shampoo by thrillkisser

"I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised."

How I did it: I saw them on Lush's site and thought they were very intriguing. I read reviews and watched some videos to help decide which would be best for me and my husband. 

Then, we went to Lush and picked them up.
I got Godiva that smells like Jasmine and is also very moisturizing. Andrew got The Blonde with Chamomile and Marigold which highlights blonde hair.

I was skeptical that three swipes would work so I did four. And, it was more than enough. Next time three. Andrew did three. His didn't lather like mine did, but it was just as effective. 
My favorite part is the smell of the Godiva. Mmm, jasmine. And, the bathroom smelled like jasmine even a bit the next morning. :)

Lessons & tips:

  • Wet your hair, wet the bar, glide the bar down the length of your hair about three times (right, left and center). 
  • Don't doubt the bar (bubbles or no, it's cleaning)

Me, too! :)

No, I haven’t. But I got one for my mom as part of her Christmas gift. It smells so yummy.

Myself, I’ve mostly used the henna blocks. I love them. :)

Have you tried them?

Yup

In my last trip the US I bought some products. I use solid soap, but I think I didnt make the best choose. The scrub (I dont remmember the name, just is made with sea salt) is the best scrub I use ever.

Yes, that is one of the awesome things about Lush. Very little packaging.

And everything is handmade. All vegetarian, too, I believe. It’s a pretty cool company.
