DiamondMind [R.I.P.] -- Exhausted...
Wow!
Your comment completely made my day! I never thought I’d be able to help someone else.
A lot of people find it strange or unbelievable when I say that reading helped pull me out of misery, but it’s true. Through reading, I was able to escape to different worlds, and concentrate on something other than my own problems. It helped me to forget, but most importantly, to want to live again. I think it’s beautiful how much literature can give us. Books have been far better for me than any anti-depressant, psychiatrist or self-medicating I ever endured. They are the ultimate friend.
I think you’ll love Goodreads! It’s one of the most amazing websites I’ve found online. Not only can you build your library and sort it whichever way you wish, but it’s also a great social outlet for people who are like you. There are groups and reviews, and giveaways (who doesn’t love the chance to win a free book?), and so much more. Just randomly click things around the website and you’ll be addicted in no time – lol!
I’ll be sending you a friends request after I post this message! Thank you so much for your kind words and I really hope that reading can do as much for you as it has for me. Happy reading! :)

Of course!
I’m excited you decided to join! I still manage to get lost for hours on Goodreads sometimes. It’s definitely 43Things’ rival for the top website of my affection.
I sent you a friends request. My username is the same as it is here.
I look forward to talking books with you! :)
