How I did it: Using online guides, I made sure I had all the parts I needed on Newegg. When it came to putting it all together, I'll admit I got pretty overwhelmed. Taking it step-by-step made it doable and, honestly, it wasn't hard at all.
Lessons & tips: Make sure everything is compatible--socket types, RAM types, cables, etc.
