How to learn to be more aggressive

"Once I made up my mind that I wouldn't let people run my life, aggressiveness became my best friend."
How I did it: A lot of self-encouragement and taking baby steps to standing up for myself. I had to realize if I didn't stand up and be aggressive no one would do it for me. Slowly but surely I started speaking up and voicing my opinion. The more I did it the easier it became. Finding your own voice is a great discovery.
Lessons & tips: Lesson 1: Please know you're not the only one who has opinions and a voice.
Lesson 2: You can and probably will be wrong at some point. So don't act like you know it all. Lesson 3: You can be aggressive and not be rude or disrespectful.
