How to make a birthday cake

"It was fun to give my friend his birthday cake?"
How I did it: I brought a friend over and we made the cake, and my mom bought me a bunch of supplies and I love her for it. I really have nothing else to say about this but apparently I need to write more about how I did it. I don't think that others would really need help in baking a cake, so I'm just going to ramble. I mean, it's pretty easy to buy some cake mix or even look up a recipe for cake and to go out and buy some ingredients from Lowes or something.
Lessons & tips: Don't let anyone eat the batter, and make sure to make them as delicious as possible, just in case some other person brings cupcakes. Make sure yours are the BEST.
