"I never thought it was possible, but I found true love."
How I did it: It sounds really weird, but I did this by giving up completely. I didn't just say, "I give up." Instead, I was truly and completely resigned to not falling in love. I had made a lot of plans to travel around and not really be emotionally available, and I even said things like, "I really don't want a boyfriend right now." Then BAM! Out of nowhere I fell completely, intensely, inconveniently in love with an awesome person who loves me back. Almost 4 years later, we are more in love than ever. (Recently celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary!) I think the most important thing is not to look for somebody, but to really discover yourself and open yourself to new experiences. You never know how or where or when you'll meet that special someone.
Lessons & tips: I realize this is really unhelpful advice for someone who wants to find
true love, but I really believe that you have to love yourself first
instead of looking to someone else to complete you. If you really
believe you are attractive (on a soul level) you will attract.
