How I did it: I had an idea, then I thought about it for three years. A tattoo is forever. Please don't get one on a whim. I visited about 10 places before I settled on one. When you visit a place ask to look through their portfolio. Any place with tattoo designs you choose off the wall was out for me. Make sure they have some examples of the kind of tattoo you want to get (like a picture, cartoon, free style) in their portfolio to make sure they can do it right.

Lessons & tips: Oh man, I am a scab-picker for sure. Really, don't pick at your scabs it takes the color off with it. Now I'll be going back to get it touched up.
