How I did it: I joined Bookcrossing in May 2006. For a year I had a hard time deciding what kind of book to release.  I decided to release a book of Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays. I drove to my college and released near a student computer lab. I put a note inside the book explaining about Bookcrossing and the tracking number. The tracking number was never entered onto the site and I don't know if the book has continued being released but I hope someone found it and enjoyed it.

Lessons & tips:

• Make sure to register the book you are going to release  get a tracking number from the Bookcrossing site and put on a stick note inside the book
• Release the book where someone will pick it up.
