How to crochet a hat by adidacm

"I did it!"

How I did it: For some reason, the counting involved in hat patterns really intimidated me, and I've been avoiding crocheting a hat for years.  But I found a simple pattern from an organization that provides baby hats for midwives in third world countries.  Knowing that overcoming this silly fear could help someone helped me get over it.  I sat down, took it one step at a time, and less than an hour later, I had a little hat!  It's not perfect, but I'm proud to have finished it anyway.

Global Health Ministries

The Global Health Ministries website has patterns for knitting, crocheting, or sewing baby caps. I just talked to another friend who has donated these to women and children’s shelters and other crisis centers, too. Here’s the link to the pattern page:
