"A bouncy, cheery, touristy and fun way to celebrate my 50th birthday."
How I did it: I made reservations ahead of time online. We took jackets even though it was a very warm day for a May 28th. And we were glad to have them, especially cruising down Aurora and while the Duck was splashing about on the water.
The guide was fun and told us lots of old stories about Seattle and its landmarks and attractions. The most fun parts were floating around on Lake Union (peaceful and so pretty!) and singing and waving to people on the streets and having them wave back at us.
Even now, whenever I'm walking down the street and pass a Ducks tour I have to wave.
I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have kids or are a kid at heart.
Lessons & tips: Dress warmly!
Resources: The web helped me reserve tickets ahead.
