Yes, Japanese can be fun
It’s been some time since you posted this. I imagine you’ve progressed quite a bit. I’m sure you already realize this, but in your photo where you wrote “ganbatte kudasai” in hiragana, it would help to add a small “tsu” between the “ba” and the “te” to give it the double “t” sound. Also, though an “m” can’t stand alone in hiragana, it often does in romaji because it rolls off the tongue easier, so we see it often spelled “gambatte”, as with Nihombashi and Gaiemmae. Hope you can make it to Japan someday.
