How I did it: I went to an international conference for professionals in my field and presented a workshop on some learning materials that our college has developed. I had a great workshop with tons of collaboration and fantastic ideas from people in similar positions all across the country.

After the conference I spent some time with my sister and grandmother, who live in the area. Got to do a bit of sightseeing and play around.

Sadly, conference funds have been cut so I won't have the opportunity to do this again for quite some time. Glad I did it while I could!
