How I did it: I found out we have a yarn store in town that has affordable lessons... they'll also teach you for free. I bought a groupon for 2 classes. It takes more work than I anticipated but I think I'm going to like it. It's frustrating as I often have to rip apart what I've done because of some mistake I found along the way. Regardless, I'm definitely glad that I am trying this as I've long desired to do.
