"Emotional"
How I did it: This has been the best thing that I have ever done for myself, I never
would of thought that I would be driving, now whenever I drive, I
actually see the streets that I use to walk to work to, the bus station I
use to wait an hour for before I could take the bus to work or school,
the supermarkets that I would walk to and from home, and I say to
myself, Thank you God for giving me this privilage of driving. I still
do these things, but I use to be so afraid of driving that it was
sickening. I OVERCAME IT, and thats why I am so grateful that I am
driving. How did I do this? We'll with support from family and friends,
and a book called "Drive without fear" by Norman Klein. Also since no
one was willing to actually help me, I took a class of driving, it was a
private class with one on one instruction on the basics of driving. And
lots of prayer.
Lessons & tips: When you do get a car, start by moving front and back in your own
backyard to get the feel of the car, if you dont have a backyard big
enough, go with a friend or family member who has a license and try in
an empty parking lot, just move front and back and just go slowly with
the car until you get the hang of it.
Resources: 1.Book "Drive without Fear" by Norman Klein. 2.Private Driving Lesson
with a one on one instructor on the basics of driving which costs about
40 dollars for 2 hours, even less in some areas. 3. Support from family and friends.4. Prayer.
