Deskdude I want to start over, but not lose all my stuff. lol
That's really, really cool of you!
You’re very generous. Good on you again! ;)
How I did it: A neighbor of mine started a food drive in our building and put a box downstairs to for donations. The other day I found $80 in a parking lot. I couldn't find the owner and thought "what if this is someone's grocery money??" I felt sorry so I decided to turn it around and put it back out there... hey, it wasn't mine in the first place, right?
Lessons & tips: Without messing up your own budget, think of things you could cut back on... like make coffee at home for one week instead of buying... that could be $12 you could put towards a meal for a family. I the stat is every $1 donated can make up to 5 meals so every bit counts!!!
Resources: Google your local food bank to see suggested items needed.

i always assumed that food banks had plenty of food and such so that’s interesting to know…i’m looking into volunteering for a food bank or soup house and committing to it even after the holiday season passes up…
but…i liked this story…how inspirational
i also wish i could cheer your ‘about me’ because i absolutely love what you wrote =)

do the same! It’s so easy to get into the spirit of giving around the holidays…. I wonder what happens to the soup kitchens after the holidays…. I think that is an amazing venture on your part! Good for you. I really want t o adopt that too and make it part of my “what I do” : )
