How to drive cross country
"Incredible."
How I did it: We drove. And drove. And stopped. And ate. And drove some more. Then we arrived. Then we spent a day sightseeing before we flew back and left my sister to begin her grad school adventure.
Lessons & tips: Driving cross-country is such a great opportunity to slow down, think, reflect, ponder, examine, and breathe. Don't rush. Don't have too sketchy nor too rigid a plan.
Resources: Smartphones and google maps. A printed map as a backup. Lots of trail mix.
