How to marry the love of my life. by holysocks

How I did it: We started dating when we were 17 and both knew quickly that it was different than anything else we'd experienced. I had never thought I'd meet someone I'd want to marry and had my whole unattached life planned out. Then I met him. We dated 8 months and scared, I broke it off. We intermittently kept in touch and then one day 18 months later decided to hang out again. Things fell right back in place. A month after that we were engaged, and married 11 months later. We've been married over 3 years now and have a beautfiul 2 year old son.

Lessons & tips: If you know he's the one, don't ever give up on that. I dated a few other guys while we were apart, but knew in my heart every time that they could never take his place.
