How to restore our new appartment in one month with the budget we have by Persefona

"Chastening and humbling experience."

How I did it: With a lot of help from family and friends. We could not make it alone and with the original budget. Truth is that without family interventions we would not have undertaken such extensive reconstruction, however, we are happy we had done so.

Lessons & tips: That it always takes longer (we were aware of that and constantly being reminded of that, too, but it DID really take MUCH longer!
Another lesson was that either you would completely rely on someone or you have to start to be an expert on everything. We tried the middle path and heard from every side that everything we had done was wrong in some way. So we sterted to ignore that.

and this is our new, yet unfinished kitchen after 5 months. there are still a lot of things to do, but at least we can make a decent meal :-)
