How I did it: I broke it up and did a section of the wall every weekend for a couple of hours. First I did the entire area removing just the printed paper. Then I went back over the entire room with a wet sponge and scraped the brown paper and glue off.

Lessons & tips: You need a wet sponge and a scraper tool.  Break it up into several hour timeslots when you don't have a lot going on. Put on music, or do it in silence and just be with your thoughts, let your mind wander, zone out. Use it as a quiet/meditative time.

I found it helpful to work on it when I was feeling guilty (ie: don't feel like going to the gym, then do some wallpaper stripping, feel guilty about watching tv for a couple hours in a row, then do some wallpaper stripping)
