How to see the shuttle launch @ Kennedy Space Center on 11/16/09 by bp

"This was awesome!"

How I did it: I checked the launch schedule and picked a date. Depending on weather these launches can be canceled down to the last hour.So we picked other things to do in the area in case the launch was scrapped.

Lessons & tips: There is only one launch left but you can always visit NASA and tour the area.

One of a kind...

experience, even from a mile away (or however far they make you stay back). I saw one in the 90’s, we’d made several fruitless trips to the coast only to have the launches scrubbed at the last minute. The one we finally saw was a night launch and it was incredible.
