How to stop eating ice.
"Check your iron levels!"
How I did it: In hindsight, my behaviour began as a result of heavy periods which triggered anaemia. Eating ice is a symptom of being anaemic, apparently. I didn't realise this for a number of years by which time I ate it for stress relief - patterned habits around being hormonal..! Check your iron levels and make sure they are normal, and if not take a supplement.
Resources: Floradix - liquid iron. Irons a difficult supplement to absorb so the liquid version suited me much better.
