congrats!
congrats on the running :-) I am slowly coming around this way, and the advise to give it time is spot on
How I did it: The first step to running is that everyone starts off at different levels. When I first started, that was no way I was running a mile. But it feels good to run three now. It's all about consistency. You may be in pain one morning, but stick with it; you'll be glad you did. Once I got into that routine mindset, it all became easier and I actually enjoyed running.
Lessons & tips: It's not for everyone - give it time, at least two weeks, to test whether you can stick with it or not. But if that love isn't there, then you should try something more empowering. =]
Resources: A decent pair of running shoes.
