How I did it: We researched which vehicle we wanted to use for our retirement savings.  Then we finally agreed on an amount we felt we could set aside.  While we are not maxed, we are at about 15-20%.  Since some of it is pre-tax, we need to see how the dust settles.

Lessons & tips: Don't expect to do it in a day.  I thought we could knock this one out fast but we ran into some snafus and between not being able to call from work, etc., it took us longer than we thought.
