How I did it: Actually, I did this with a different organization that's probably a copy-cat group. Regardless, I've actively built 4 houses in Mexico over the last few years. It's amazing what a handful of unskilled volunteers can create out of a pile of materials in one weekend.
It's absolutely fulfilling to hand over the door keys to the family who's been eagerly awaiting shelter.
