How I did it: I found salons around where I lived that were participating--most places will give you a free hair cut of your choice afterwards!  I let my hair grow for two years without dying it (which is hard for me!!).  When it was halfway down to my elbow, I went to a spa.  After taking of a ponytail of 10 inches, and my hair wasn't all gone, i STILL had long hair! Remember that! You're not giving up all of your hair by doing this!

Lessons & tips: It's the most AMAZING feeling to know you're helping someone else!!!  You have something that you take for granted--but others don't have this.  Be their hero.  give them what they can't have.
