"Food Not Bombs"

How I did it: My bestfriend started a FNB in our hometown. Every Sunday we have a meal for the homeless. At first I wasn't too involved, but now I have been more so. Interacting with the homeless is humbling, and also reminds you that they are people too, even though some don't treat them that way. It was a bit awkward at first for some people to interact with them. But being empathetic and having positive conversations with the homeless makes you grateful.

Lessons & tips: Start something, and get a group of people to support you!!
