How to get my weight below 200 pounds
"Slow and steady wins the race."
How I did it: I have been going to the gym quite regularly. Lots of walking on the treadmill, working out with a trainer, yoga... Also, I tried to limit my unhealthy food intake; I'd let myself have 2 cookies, for example, but then make myself stop instead of eating 12.
Lessons & tips: Drinking lots of water helps you feel full.
Resources: Checking in right here, at 43Things, every Sunday to record my weight actually really helped me. At some point, I felt ashamed of recording my above-200lb numbers here and that propelled me to be more disciplined about food and exercise.
