it was so sweet of you to send letters :D
How to write a Letter to my Grandparents once a month
How I did it: I started this a few years ago when I moved away from home - sending letters every month or so as well as birthday/christmas/anniversery cards. They absolutely love it. Sadly, Grandma passed away this year, but one of the last things she said to me was how much she enjoyed my letters. Priceless.
Writing a short letter really doesn't take as much time as it may seem. Do try it. It's well worth it.
Lessons & tips: It's not about the length or quality of it all - a short, simple letter is much better than no letter at all. And it's better so send something small regularly than one long letter every other year. You really don't know how long you'll have your grandparents around. Don't put it off, just write something, anything. They'll love it.
Also...it's not just the GRANDparents that love letters. Do send something to your parents every now and then, especially if you live far away. You might email, text and call them, but real posted letters and packages are forever. And much more treasured.
Resources: Pen, paper and envelope with stamp. Or computer, printer and envelope with stamp if you think your handwriting is unreadable.
