How to make my own organic cleaning products.
"This was totally worthwhile: it saved me money, made me feel better about saving the planet, and allowed me to be creative with it."
How I did it: I scoured websites, which I included links on my entries. I picked a few "recipes" to make, gathered the ingredients, started concocting them, and got into the habit!
I no longer buy any glass cleansers, countertop cleaners, or laundry detergent.
I'm not sure how long this actually took me. I just know that I didn't want to mark this as done until I repeatedly made my own detergent and cleaners.
Lessons & tips: Just try, try, again.
Resources: Borax, Arm & hammer washing soda, white vinegar, water, essential oils.
