How I did it: I use to be one of those people who flosses every great once in a while before the dentist. But then one day at random I flossed and then smelled the floss afterwards. I'd already brushed my teeth. I thought my teeth were clean. But the funky smell on the floss changed me. I floss every day now. And I still smell the floss sometimes. I know it is really gross, but it isn't as gross as having that in you mouth.
