How to learn to say no

"Ensure that you take care of yourself before taking care of others. "
How I did it: Said no to the person who asked for donation (fundraiser for a company that is not helping anything related to something that we don't know about). I can use that extra money for myself because I am in so much debt. I know that when I make enough to over-support myself and a family some day I will be able to donate money to charity.
Lessons & tips: Have confidence in saying, "no" as many times as needed. Don't feel obliged to do anything at all.
