How to plan something awesome for our anniversary! by buffalosnowangel

"A little bit of love, hard work and luck made it the perfect gift! :)"

How I did it: My boyfriend's an Aerospace Engineering student, and his professor told him that he should have at least one flying lesson to really appreciate what he's working towards.

When he told me that, I knew exactly what I was going to get him- that flying lesson.

So, I found a local flight instructor and, in the last three weeks we worked out a flight plan for him- he's going to be learning to fly, and flying over the Buffalo Skyline and over Niagara Falls.

In a freakish coincidence, yesterday he told me he had the urge to fly a plane (even though he hates planes). How lucky!

So when I let him know I'd gotten him a flying lesson, he was ecstatic!

Love, hard work and some luck made it the perfect gift!

Lessons & tips: Listen to your partner, they may just mention something in passing :)

he’s frustrated that he can’t rush out and do it right away (because of his school schedule)...but hopefully he can in two weeks, when school’s out! :)

But I stole your idea. I read it this morning and I got soo excited because it was such a unique and cool idea, that I decided to do my own. So on April 25th, the two of us are gonna each fly our own planes. I’m so excited! It sounds like one of the best ideas ever and I really hope you don’t mind that I copied you. I can’t wait to hear how your boyfriend liked it!
