How to get a brazilian bikini wax
How I did it: I am lucky to have a great waxer. I'm comfortable with her. It is like having lunch with a good friend, except without food, their is wax! It takes about 45-60 minutes and really doesn't hurt as bad as a lot of people say (or maybe I have a high tolerance for pain?). It is tender and red for about 1-2 days after the waxing, but TOTALLY worth it.
Lessons & tips: Take 2 asprin or any other mild pain killer about 30 minutes before your appointment. My waxer suggests a glass of wine. ;) If you have the money, going for your wax every 4-6 weeks not only keeps you feeling smooth and clean, but it also makes the waxing hurt MUCH less. My waxer charges me about $20 less if I visit her on a regular basis, rather than going in once every 3 months or a couple times a year. I've been getting regular waxes now for the past 3 years.
