How I did it: I decided to make a movie of me riding a bike because I just learned (another of my 43 things completed!) and I wanted to show my family back home.

I had my boyfriend take videos on my little point & shoot digital camera, uploaded the videos to iMovie, edited out the unnecessary bits, chose a soundtrack song, and put the clips in a nice order. done!

Lessons & tips: it's all pretty basic. use apple+T to split clips. choose the song after you've edited the footage down to only the things you want to include; then you can sort your iTunes library by song length and find a track that fits your video perfectly.
