How I did it: I've wanted a Jeep wrangler since I was 16. It's really the only vehicle that I've ever been crazy about.
2 days ago I found a great Jeep listed online at a dealership about an hour away from my town. I emailed & called the sales person. Then I drove down on my (extended) lunch break and test drove it.
I ended up trading in my 2007 Cadillac CTS for the 2003 Jeep Wrangler. It's a soft top, automatic, 55k miles, white exterior, gray interior, black top. It rocks!! I love it and I am finally driving my dream car :)
Lessons & tips: Make sure you're getting a good deal, but if you find one that suits you, jump on it! I have had 3 Jeeps sold out from under me in the last year because I couldn't get to the dealership fast enough. Take off work, skip your class, do what you gotta do, because a Jeep will sell in 5 minutes, especially if the weather is nice!
