How I did it: Had to call for guidance over and over:
IRS 800#, MD Dept of Rev, LA Dept of Rev.

Then.... I cheated.  I kept calling an accountant friend so many times that he just told me to send him the 2009 federal tax paperwork and he'd do it.... He's the MAN! <3

Lessons & tips: All departments seem to want compliance more than penalization, so don't be afraid to speak up and ask for guidance!

If you submit something wrong they simply have a form for you to fill out to correct it - not a big slap on the wrist.
