How to touch a giraffe by kmar

How I did it: We were trekking around in the jeep, then stopped at a checkpoint. This pretty tame giraffe (named Sophie, though he's male) came over to check us out. He leaned down and stuck his head right next to me, so I reached out and petted his neck! It was awesome.

Lessons & tips: Giraffes are our friends.

We have a squeaky toy giraffe for my 3 month old son…the name on the box was “Sophie, Le Giraffe” !!!

once when i was little i went to see the giraffes and one lowerd its head toward me and i found some leaves cause i wanted to feed it. and then it licked my hand! ewww. its tounge was long and purple lol
