How I did it: Got my motorcycle license almost a year and a half ago and since then i had been saving for it. got the land rover discovery just over a year ago and started saving for the bike. things come up but reaching my goal of saving $2000-$3000 for a used bike was a little hard. i had $2600 and looked into craigslist and found this 2003 suzuki sv650 for $2750. yesterday i called the guy, drove 20 miles with my buddies to check it out, closed the deal and i had to ride it back home on actual streets with traffic and over hills!!!! i rode it almost all day long today to get used to it...stalled it a few times but no big dea!!l....so easy to get to 70 mph!! @.@ cutting through traffic is so much fun also!!! so many advantages now!!!

plus it's a boost to my confidence because i have to trust my own abilities to know that i'll get to my destination safely and get there without a scratch...and by the way, that is my new bike in the pic =)
