"Easy, fun and inspiring!"
How I did it: I bought soap base, honey scent and a soap form (not necessary) at a local craft store. I got some advice from a friend who has made soap, and found some in structions on the internet. And then I got started -
I melted my soap in a water bath, oiled the forms, added some curry for colouring, and then the honey scent. Placed it in the fridge, and waited...and waited...and presto: my own soap!
Lessons & tips: Read the specific instructions for your soap base, don't bring the soap to a boil, and don't add too much scent or colouring.
I seem to have added a bit too much water with my colouring (mixing curry in water), and one of my bars is very gummy-like, rather than solid.
Apart from that - get creative, adding fried flowers, oats, ground coffee etc for various smells, effects and colours!
Resources: I gathered advice on various sites on the net, and printed out a list on what to do.
