How I did it: I fractured a tooth last year and had to get a gold crown to "save" the tooth. I went to the dental school attached to my college. It was much cheaper then if I went to a full time dentist. It also took a lot longer. Still, my dentist was great and listened to me when I told her about my phobia of needles. So, now I've got a gold tooth and both of my cavities filled. So woo.

Lessons & tips: Brush and floss your damn teeth! Also, dental schools rock, especially if you are in a pinch for money.
