How to visit Bandung

How I did it:
it took me 6 years because when my cousin first invited me to visit her, i was still studying and didnt have the money. after working for 5 months now i finally got to visit her.
my friends and i bought a promotional plane tickets to jakarta some time last year. since we heard that jakarta is very much like kuala lumpur, we thought we'd go to bandung.
we arrived at soekarno-hatta airport, jakarta at around 9 pm and headed straight to a hotel to spend the night. the next morning, we took a trip to bandung at Rp 70, 000 which is about USD 8. the transportation is in a form of van, or known to the locals as "travel", which can facilitate 10 passengers at a time. it took about 3 hours to reach bandung from jakarta via cipulayang freeway.
the "travel" dropped us off at their station on dipatiukur street. from there we took a red cab to my cousin's. the red cabs, run by a company called cipaganti, are known to be reliable and paid by meters (argo).
there. i made it to bandung :)
