It made me 
"amazing to see my idol, but disappointed by his voice"
How I did it: I purchased tickets to Blues n Roots in Perth, then attended. There was a long wait in the mosh pit as we wanted to be up close. It was great to see him close-up but sad to see how much his voice has changed and disappointing that he didn't interact with the audience much.
Lessons & tips: Although his voice didn't sound too good, I was happy to be seeing him, so I'd probably say try not to expect anything amazing in terms of musical performance.
