How to fill a jar with sea glass
"great fun for all the family"
How I did it: What started as a bit of casual fun has turned into a family hobby. All three of us get excited when we find a piece that is either large or an unusual colour.
Though we started with just the one jar we are now going to separate the colours into separate jars, yep we've collected that much!
Lessons & tips: Beaches that have a higher proportion of rocks and pebbles seem to yield far more pieces of sea glass than sandy beaches do.
Resources: Your eyes and a strong back for all the bending over you'll be doing.
