How I did it: I didn't earn my money in the way I thought I would (working at a job). Instead my years of hard work at school paid off-I got some scholarships and the one I received so far was for $500. I put the money away to use towards tuition at college this year or next year!

Lessons & tips: Work hard in school, it often pays off.
