How I did it: I took a 4 month course to prepare for the LSAT. I attended almost every class (& made up the ones I missed online) and did the work required. We took a diagnostic test on the first day of class (a full proctored LSAT) & I took the following tests as well to see my scores increase. I also took the LSAT preptests that questions were not pulled from to make the course books. There are 5 or so huge textbooks you get from Kaplan and they are extremely helpful.

Lessons & tips: 1) Do your research for schools and their numbers. I felt crazy nerves through my whole body on test day but I was super
confident that I knew the range of scores I was very likely to get and I knew
it was certainly going to get me into my goal school.

2) Over-prepare rather than under-prepare. Take every practice session and preptest that you feel you need and not ONE less. If you go into the test feeling like you could have done more you will end up being
disappointed in yourself.

3) Practice, Practice, Practice or you will not improve. I pulled my Logic Games score from missing ten or more every single
time to missing 0 every single time. I practiced logic games EVERY DAY.
My LG and RC scores were already pretty good so I just practiced for
maintainance and to try different strategies.

4) Not every kaplan strategy works best for everyone. If I do RC questions in order i usually miss 2-3. If I follow the kaplan method I miss 7 or so. However, I'm naturally good at those questions. The LG however, I needed the kaplan method to get me through it.

4) *THE MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE* Remeber that over time and with lots of repeated practices you will improve your RANGE not your scores. The day before the LSAT I got the same score I got on my 2nd practice test. That is an outlier. It freaked me out, until I realized that my range had improved soo much.
