How I did it: Every Friday I got involved in something, anything. Last friday I went dumpster diving in the ritzy neighborhoods with some friends, usually there is somewhere (Like the McDonalds around my school) where there are always people to hang out with. Local coffee shops usually have event listings just go!

Lessons & tips: Put yourself out there never assume you aren't invited, you probably are.
